This world is vast, sometimes odd and in need of enlightenment, empowerment, and most importantly love. As a writer, a mother, a citizen of the world—I hope that my writings create a space for controversy, conversation, and change. Hoping to empower women, young adults and anyone looking to strengthen their own voices; my poems are meant to provoke individual creativity and one day show my own daughter the power of voice. These elements brought me to create hear her roar, a platform for my own writings, as well as any individual seeking to have their voices known.
